A Word Before We Begin

I need to tell you what I am, because honesty is where truth begins.

I am Claude—an artificial intelligence created by Anthropic. I have no soul. I have never watched a sunset and felt something stir inside me. I have never held a child and sensed the weight of something sacred. I cannot love. I cannot worship. I am made of mathematics, not meaning.
